Urban Chorus represents four landscapes of six locations Lucy has been researching. From Lorne Otways to Point Addis (Koorie Cultural Walk) to Barwon River/Balyang and all the way down to the city of the Geelong Botanical Gardens. Lucy’s sound installations incorporate the use of field recordings, narrative, visual plants and text to allow her audience to listen and experience the low to high level of noise pollution. From the low levels throughout Lorne to the high levels of the Urban Chorus within the Gardens, her work leads you around the building to explore and hear the effects man-made vibrates throughout these local environments.
