Nature's Colour investigates the formations, colours and the beauty of our environment that surrounds Geelong and expanding areas of the Surfcoast. This exhibition focuses on the idea that we fabricate what truly is materialising around what we see and hear within our local environments. The paintings and composed soundscapes incorporate field studies from various locations from the Lorne Otways all the way down to the Barwon River. The experience of deep listening whilst observing the vibrant paintings evokes a sense of loss, and ponders how what is now…can be gone tomorrow.
